Level Zero is a full-playthrough challenge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In this run, the player plays through the game under Level Zero conditions, or OBPNBNLP, which stands for Only Badge Points, No Badges, No Leveled Partners.
Rules
- Only upgrade Badge Points (BP) upon leveling up.
- Do not equip Badges that require 1 or more BP to use.
- Do not rank up any of Mario’s Partners.
Paper Mario
Due to the BP cap, the player aims to finish the game under Level 11 to avoid having to upgrade HP or FP. If the player reaches Level 11, he or she must choose to upgrade FP and refrain from using over 5 FP at all times.
