Pre-Chapter 2 Pit is a Pit of 100 Trials challenge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In this run, the player attempts to complete the Pit of 100 Trials before ever entering the pipe to Boggly Woods, never beginning Chapter 2.
This challenge is an easier variant of Pre-Hooktail Pit, as the player now has convenient access to West Rogueport, as well as +1 SP, Earth Tremor, Zess T., and more badges. However, the player can also now shop from Charlieton, who sells Double Pain, Jumpman and Hammerman. Equipping these badges will make Pre-Chapter 2 Pit substantially harder than the standard Pre-Hooktail Pit.

- Do not leave the Pit of 100 Trials partway. The run must be attempted in one go.
