BP Only is a single-stat, full-playthrough challenge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In this run, the player plays through the game without ever upgrading HP or FP.
Rules[]
- Only upgrade Badge Points (BP) upon leveling up.
- Do not equip HP Plus or FP Plus.
Paper Mario[]
While it is possible to finish Paper Mario without ever upgrading HP or FP, the player can only achieve this by avoiding almost all optional battles. Due to the BP cap, a BP Only run is not considered an "official" challenge category in Paper Mario.
